Holiday Market is here!

Yes! The NOBTS Holiday Market is this Thursday, November 5, and we’ve got almost 50 vendors ready to sell their wares in the Hardin Student Center Atrium from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The evening also features Chick-fil-A sandwich sales and a cupcake fundraiser so make your plans now to participate (which means come spend money!). It’s going to be a big time, even for those on a small budget! Check out the event page on Facebook (NOBTS Holiday Market) and invite your friends from church, coffee shop, and beyond!

We’re Pinking It Up One More Week

We’ve got one more week to encourage the NOBTS community to make a contribution to the Kim Wilson Missions Scholarship Fund in memory of her time here at NOBTS and serving through the International Mission Board. Kim died of breast cancer in 2008 so we use the national emphasis on the disease to focus on a redemptive cause: giving to this fund to offer assistance to future women who feel called to missions. You can toss your coins in the box at the Dean of Students office or contact Vanee Daure at vdaure@nobts.edu and she’ll come by to pick up your check!

Encourage a Missionary

We’re wrapping up our recent “encourage-a-missionary” letter-writing project this week. Look for the table by the Dean of Students office with the basket, notecards, and names of missionaries you can write a quick note. We’ll take care of the mailing for you! Just a small way we can highlight our 2015-16 core value: Mission Focus!
