Come Say Goodbye
Come by the Dean of Students office in the HSC sometime between 11 am and 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15 to say goodbye to Drs. Allen and Judi Jackson as they wrap up their time of service here at the seminary. Allen has accepted a position as senior pastor of Dunwoody Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, and they will be relocating soon after almost 22 years here on the NOBTS campus.
Heartbeat Christmas Luncheon
The NOBTS women staffers (aka Heartbeat) are invited to a fun Christmas luncheon that includes a gift exchange on Tuesday, December 22 from Noon to 1 p.m. A Perfect Potluck sign-up for food contributions has been set up. Click HERE to see the possibilities. The gift exchange spending limit is $10 but feel free to re-gift a new little something.
Dr. Emily Dean is stepping into the role of Coordinator of Women’s Programs, beginning January 2016. She is looking forward to meeting all campus women at the various upcoming events. Be sure to take a moment to make her feel welcome and offer a word of encouragement. Emily is a wonderful fit for this position and will offer amazing organizational skills as NOBTS Women move ahead to connect with one another and beyond.
Planning Ahead: Game Night!
As you make your plans to return from the Christmas holidays, be sure to get back by Monday, January 11 for the much-anticipated Game Night for all students, held in Carey Hall from 7-9 p.m. Refreshments are provided by Heartbeat, the campus organization of women staffers. Vanee Daure invites you to bring your board games and fun spirit for an evening of connection and competition!
