“Hand out 9 volt batteries for smoke detectors and share the love of Jesus with our neighbors,” said Dr. Preston Nix, Leavell Center director, regarding the Servanthood Evangelism Project, Thursday, April 21, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Everyone in the NOBTS family is invited to participate. Participants should meet at the Leavell Center at 1:30 p.m. for a brief orientation before forming teams to deliver the free batteries to homes in the community. Teams will be led by faculty members.

Reporting back time is 3:15 p.m. Free snowballs for participants will be provided at 3:30 p.m.

The project is sponsored by the Leavell Center for Evangelism and Church Health in partnership with Gentilly Baptist Church, Dr. Ken Taylor, pastor. For information, contact the Leavell Center at ext. 8820.
